Apperheny Hall presents Hot August Jive, a live mixture of music, comedy and theatrical mischief produced by Steve Apperson. For audiences who prefer their variety shows a little unpredictable, this one arrives with a full cast, several questionable identities and no apparent interest in behaving like a respectable evening at the theater.

Featured performers Karesa McElheny, Nick Jay, Rick Ray, William Lenaburg, Emma Hamilton and Sheri Garwood step into the guises of the infamous Dr. Blues, cult figure Miles Better and the gloriously oblivious Nancy Thrillson. Holding the evening together, or at least making a brave attempt, is the intrepid host Shirli Yunome.
