From its humble beginning, the Reardon name is recognized as a “Pillar in and for the Community” of Ventura and its surrounding neighborhoods. Serving as the county coroner from 1922 – 1936, Oliver Reardon continued his involvement with the concerns of the community, providing six years of dedicated service as councilman in the 1940’s. Joseph Patrick, started as an apprentice embalmer, working for his father, while still in high school. Learning his craft, thoroughly, Joseph showed the same dedication and compassion of his father and regardless of the task at hand, Joseph offered his talent and concerns to those in most need of the services provided by the Reardon family.
