Walk the Trail on Earth Day with Botanist Joe Cahill

The Ventura Botanical Gardens invites you to celebrate Earth Day with a special trail walk in Grant Park. Botanist and board member Joe Cahill, Ph.D. will describe our plans for the gardens and discuss spring wildflowers and other plants present along the trail.

Meet in the upper parking lot behind City Hall on Poli Street. Wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and sun protection. Bring water and also bring a litterbag if you would like to help clean up along the way.

As an added treat, Ventura Earth Day Eco Fest is giving each trail walk participant two tickets for its raffle of items totaling $10,000. After our walk, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to join their festivities at Promenade Park.
