Beware of Mr. Baker will screen on Tuesday March 11 at 7:15pm, at the VFS’s new state of the art location, 420 E. Santa Clara St. Tickets are $10 general, $7 for seniors and $5 for students.   The legendary drummer Ginger Baker looks back on his musical career with Cream and Blind Faith, his introduction to World Music through Fela Kuti and other African musicians, and his self-destructive patterns and losses of fortune. He currently lives inside a fortified compound in South Africa, where filmmaker Jay Bulger risks life and limb to get the reluctant master on film.
