Ventura Friends of the Library and the Museum of Ventura County Team Up for a Benefit Art Sale!
A benefit Art Sale with original pieces donated by the family of Hank and Susan Stouz will be held from 11 am – 3 pm on Nov. 10 at the Museum of Ventura County, located at 100 E. Main Street, Ventura. Also available for sale will be gently used art and cookbooks. Award winning painter, Susan Stoutz, is a signature member of the Gold Coast Watercolor Society and a member of the Buenaventura Art Association, Ojai Art Center, Oxnard Art Association, Ventura Artist Guild and Santa Paula Society of the Arts. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Ventura Friends of the Library and the Museum of Ventura County.
About the Museum
The Museum of Ventura County celebrates, preserves and interprets the art, history and culture of Ventura County, the California Channel Islands and the surrounding region through its collections, exhibitions, events, educational programs, publications and its research library, and serves as a gathering place for the community. Ventura Friends of the Library
Ventura Friends of the Library is an all-volunteer organization who supports the public libraries of the City of Ventura by raising funds through the sale of donated books. These funds are used for the purchase of library books, materials and equipment and to support the Summer Reading programs, The Teen Activity Group and other programs for children, teens and adults.
