About The Throwdown Cornhole Tournament:

Spencer Makenzie’s invites all players of all skill levels to enter the World’s Largest Cornhole Tournament “The Throw Down” on Friday August 26, 2022 thru Sunday August 28, 2022. Sign ups open up Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 9am pst. This years theme is “Unfinished Business” with 1024 teams battling for over $300,000.00 in cash payouts over the 3 day weekend of cornhole. With additional cornhole tournaments being add over the 3 days to win more cash and prices. And that’s not all… teams with California and Ventura County residency will be competing for side cash payouts.

This 3 day cornhole tournament is the largest cash cornhole tournament in the world and is held in the beautiful beach town of Ventura California at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Come enjoy the tournament as a cornhole player or spectator there is plenty of food, drinks, cold beer & wonderful beach weather. So mark your calendars now, only 1024 teams will be playing. This cornhole tournament sells out every year, last year it sold out in 24hrs! If you don’t get into the main the throw down cornhole tournament don’t let that stop you from attending, there are additional cornhole tournaments all weekend that  you can play and sign up the day of.

Plus once the sun goes down join Spencer Makenzie’s and the city of Ventura for our annual End of Summer Block Party with live music and an outdoor party like no other. This annual end of summer block party has become a must attend summer event. Past summers has had its share of surprise performances, among them surf guitar legend Dick Dale headlining the bill two years in a row and rapper Chuck D. of Public Enemy fame dropping in a couple years back for an impromptu jam performance of the classic “Bring the Noise.”
