A debut novel by Sophia K. Apple, MD
Biography:
Sophia K. Apple, MD is a breast cancer expert and professor emeritus at UCLA. Dr. Apple contracted the polio virus as an infant in South Korea, then moved to Japan after her fourth grade, but was unable to attend school for nearly four years because of the stigma from her disability. At age 17 a car hit her at a NYC street corner, and God changed her life perspective of who she was and the purpose of her life ever since. Sophia has taught hundreds of medical students, authored over 70 professional original medical research papers, and spoken at international medical events. She continues to practice medicine as a pathology physician, and currently lives in Southern California with her husband of 34 years. She blogs at https://doctorsophiaonline.com.
