“In essence, SunriseViaLola represents the concept of finding light amidst sorrow. This name perfectly captures the essence of my art because one cannot exist without the other. I’ve embraced the shadows and transformed them into something positive. Through my art, I’ve come to realize that there is no fear or shame in trauma; rather, it should be illuminated and acknowledged. My work embodies the themes of growth and transformation, as I explore various artistic mediums. Nature plays a significant role in my inspiration, whether I am trail running, rock climbing, mountain biking, or simply taking my husky for a walk. It is within nature that I witness the beauty of transformation unfold.”
