The 143rd Ventura County Fair is coming to Downtown Ventura August 1 through August 12!
- $12.00 Adults
- $9 Children and Seniors 65+
- Super Seniors (100+) enter free!
Special Admission Days
- Dollar Day – Wednesday, August 1
Entry to the Fair is $1 until 3pm
- Feed the Need Day – Thursday, August 2
Purchase adult admission ticket and bring 5 cans for food for FOOD SHARE before 5pm & get a FREE return fair ticket, valid Mon-Thurs, Aug 6-9
- Youth Day – Friday, August 3
All Fair visitors 12 years of age and younger will be admitted free all day
- Seniors and Persons with Disabilities Day – Tuesday, August 7
Senior citizens ages 65 and older and persons with disabilities admitted free
- $3 Before 3 Day – Wednesday, August 8
Admission to the Fair is $3 before 3pm
- Military Appreciation Day – Thursday, August 9
All military personnel holding a current, valid military i.d. admitted free in honor of their service, Thank you!
Ventura County Fair Hours
- The Fair will open at 11:00 AM every day. On Tuesday, August 7th, early birds are admitted at 10:00 AM.
- Carnival Midway opens at noon every day.
- Children’s Dell opens at 11:00 AM every day.
- Exhibits close at 10:00 PM
- Commercial exhibits open until 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday only
- Admissions until 10:00 PM
- Fair closes at 11:00 PM
- Carnival closes between 11:00 PM and midnight.

Junior Livestock Auction
Friday August 10 in the Clark Pavilion
The Ventura County Fair Junior Livestock Auction is one of the biggest events at the Fair with a full day of bidding on the finest market animals in Ventura County.
Fair visitors can see their favorite musical acts and rodeos FREE with paid admission to the Fair.
The fair opens Wednesday, August 1 with Motor Sports, which requires a $5 admission in addition to paid Fair admission. (Children under 12 are admitted Free with paid Fair admission) Always a crowd pleaser, Motor Sports is a cool way to ‘rev up’ the fans before the concerts begin.
This year’s list of entertainers, each with an exceptional sound and style, will satisfy Ventura County music lovers with every performance:

This year’s lineup of extraordinary local performers includes these talented groups:
? Aaron Pax Taylor is a singer and songwriter from Simi Valley. He is the 2017 VCMA Country Artist of the Year. Aaron’s brand of high energy mainstream country rock is the product of years of passion, enthusiasm, and hard work.
? Twisted Gypsy celebrates the timeless music of the legendary Fleetwood Mac. More than just a tribute, Twisted Gypsy takes you back to the early days of California rock ’n roll with their passion, energy, stellar all-live harmonies, track-less performances.
? Hard Six hails from Ventura, California and is the Reader’s Choice 2017 Award winner for Best Band in Ventura County. Hard Six plays their own brand of Rock n’ Roll, combining elements of Rockabilly, Vintage Country & Punk.
? The Rockin’ Henrys is a band from Ventura, California playing Rockabilly, Western Rockabilly, and Americana featuring members of the talented Henry family.
? Dezmo’s Blues is a group of Ventura County musicians and family folks with a deep love of fun and music. Several singers give variety to the different types of songs they perform. Playing a variety of styles, they are very danceable and family friendly. Energetic, full of surprises, showman all, these guys will get you up and dancing.
? Revelry Country, a premiere Simi Valley based Country Cover band covering tunes from Garth Brooks to Jason Aldean, Deana Carter to Lady Antebellum and all in between! Standards from Shania Twain to The Eagles and Hank Williams to Taylor Swift!
? Doc Rodgers Band plays original and cover music with a unique live vibe. Popular performances in many local venues has established them as a Ventura County music mainstay. Start Cat Strut, Mustang Sally, Free Fallin’ and Twist & Shout are some of the various songs that will rock your night at the Fair.
GETTING TO THE FAIR
DIRECTIONS FROM LOS ANGELES
The Ventura County Fairgrounds are located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles.
From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) northbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit or the California Street exit. Turn left towards the ocean to Harbor Blvd., turn right on Harbor and continue until you reach The Ventura County Fairgrounds at the corner of Harbor and Figueroa.
DIRECTIONS FROM SANTA BARBARA
The Ventura County Fair is located on the beach in the city of Ventura, about 1 hour north of Los Angeles and about 30 minutes south of Santa Barbara.
From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) southbound, take the Seaward Ave. exit, make an immediate right on Harbor Blvd. and proceed to Ventura County Fair at Seaside Park.
2018 SHUTTLE AND PARKING INFORMATION

On-site parking accommodates fewer than 2000 vehicles and the charge is $10.00 per vehicle. However, free shuttle service will be provided daily during the Fair from 10:30am until 11:00pm from off-site parking locations that will be listed below.

- Ventura High School Larrabee lots off Poli Street in Ventura

- State Beach Parking Lot:
Shuttle is free, however there is a $10 parking fee at State Beach
Wheelchair capable busing will be available from all sites. To park free of charge, persons with disabilities, even those who display the State handicapped placard, must take advantage of the free parking listed above. Persons with disabilities will be not be permitted to park free of charge on-site at Ventura County Fairgrounds.
